Monitoring

To assure your pet has the safest anesthesia available, it is critical that they are constantly monitored before, during and after their procedure. There are 2 ways your pet is monitored at our hospital. The first is mechanical monitoring, with state-of-the-art patient monitors that include EKG, Blood Pressure, Carbon Dioxide output, Temperature, and Oxygen saturation measurements throughout the procedures. The second is visual monitoring, your pet is watched during the entire procedure by one of our highly trained RVT’s or veterinary assistants, and can alert the doctor to any irregularities with your pet. We want your pet’s procedure to be as safe and stress free  as possible.
