Do I need Pet Insurance?

PET INSURANCE – WHY YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER IT
I’m sure you have heard of pet insurance, but probably figured it was either too expensive or thought that whatever it cost vs. the likelihood of your pet needing it, wasn’t worth it. Well, below are ten of the post popular plans around. They can cost as low as $16 a month – Some study is needed on your part to find what best suits your needs. But, if you have ever had a catastrophic event, such as your pet being hit by a car, or breaking a leg, or getting a serious illness, pet insurance might just be a great investment in your pets’ health.
Every veterinary office and emergency room has seen the sorrow on clients’ faces when they cannot afford the care for an emergency surgery, serious illness or injury. Many times euthanasia is the only option to keep the pet from suffering. Don’t let this happen to your family, or your precious pet – for less than you might spend on coffee per month. You cannot predict what the future holds for you pets – why not safeguard their future with insurance?

Most of these plans, like plans for humans, have deductibles, limits, and stipulations as to what they will pay, what they will cover, how much they will cover, etc. Some pay for routine things like vaccinations, and some cover alternative therapies.
